Brian Doerksen Live in Concert/Tour Event

Recently, Brian and his team (featuring Marika Siewert) have been putting on ‘Come Now Is The Time To Worship’ evenings throughout Canada, the US and the UK. These evenings weave together some of Brian’s legacy songs, the stories behind those songs, as well as several of his new songs. The response to these evenings has been very encouraging. This can be as simple as Brian with his guitar; usually, it’s his recent configuration of a trio on stage, including Marika Siewert on piano and vocals, and Luke Vandevert on guitars and tracks.

’Hymns For Life’ Hymn Sing

Did you know you can book Brian to do a special live concert where he sings beautiful and enduring hymns? His recent recording ‘Hymns For Life’ highlighted some of those hymns, and he sang several of them with his father, Harry Doerksen. A live concert experience with Brian singing hymns can be booked as an auxiliary event while he is on tour (for example, an event planned for 10:30 AM for an hour or 1 PM for an hour), which is well-suited for those in their retirement & senior years. This event could happen in a church or a retirement and seniors’ residence. 

Christmas Concert (season-specific)

Brian’s Christmas concerts feature a mix of Christmas classics, worship songs with a Christmas twist, and original Christmas songs from his JUNO-nominated album, ‘The Heart Of Christmas,’ released in 2019. These events beautifully remind us of the gift of the incarnation and the gift of home. Included in these events is also an opportunity to acknowledge that this time of year is challenging for those who grieve the loss of loved ones. Brian is currently booking these events in partnership with Marika Siewert (who has released several Christmas singles). 

’Unlocking Your Songs’ Songwriting Workshop

Brian has spent his life writing songs and intentionally mentoring other songwriters to write the songs that are uniquely theirs to write. He offers several online courses and is also available for live, in-person workshops and song consultations.

Guest Worship Leader/Guest Artist 

There’s nothing quite like singing together with your congregation a known and loved song led by the person who wrote the song. You can book Brian to be a guest worship leader at your church for your Sunday services and sing songs like ‘Refiner’s Fire’, ‘Faithful One’ and ‘Come Now Is The Time To Worship’ with the song’s composer. Depending on your context, he can either do that by himself with his guitar or work with your worship team (which requires extra time for rehearsal). You can also bring Brian in as a guest artist for your special event, fundraiser, or other occasion. The musical content is similar to the above events, featuring a mix of his legacy songs, hymns, and love songs, depending on the type of event.
