On each recording I include a song or 2 that I didn’t write, and this is one of those songs. These lyrics resonate so deeply with me and with our new church ‘The Bridge’ (www.thebridgeonline.ca)

Our church began on Mother’s Day 2006, and after hearing it on Dave Hensman’s ‘These are the days’ CD several times, I sensed we were to sing this song in our first service. (Dave is one of the founding pastors at ‘The Bridge’).

When I got to the line “Something tells me, things are about to change” the whole congregation began clapping and cheering (just in case you are wondering, that’s not a normal thing for Canadians to do in the middle of singing worship songs!) There is a strong sense that God is on the move again (as He always is!); and He is longing to pour out His Spirit . . . with the result being life-giving change in our marriages, families, and in our communities.
