Each time I do a recording, I include at least one new song that I didn’t write. For the TODAY project I decided to include one of Kevin Boese’s songs “Hear from heaven,” which is a powerful scripture song that I feel is right for the church in this season of history. Kevin is my worship pastor at our local church, and it’s been a real joy in the last 4 years to support him in his ministry in our church and our city-wide worship gatherings. I believe that one of the highest callings we have is corporate prayer and repentance, and this song really facilitates that.
